TRUE BLOG
Sons of Anarchy concluded a mediocre season with an admittedly confusing but utterly fascinating finale. Wild twists and turns. Jacks is even more tortured than usual. I won't even attempt to describe or summarize this episode. Jacks rules and so does Clay. The finale was the second most watched show in FX history and the series has already been picked up for another season. FX is the TRUTH!!

TRUE SKINNY!
Well it's official, Warner Brothers has announced it's plan to reboot the "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" franchise. This is great news for Buffy fans and all vampire enthusiasts. Before True Blood, Buffy was the definitive television vampire series. Joss Whedon won't be participating in this project so speculation has begun on who will take the helm this time around. God I hope it's not J.J. Abrams. Why not think outside of the box. I like Sofia Coppola, Eli Roth, Chris Columbus. Here's a name, and I doubt he would do it because of his commitment to the Batman franchise, but why not Chris Nolan. All of that said, I can't believe that Joss Whedon wouldn't want to write and direct this movie. This is his creation. Why wouldn't he want to make a big budget R-rated version of Buffy? True Blood may be the best show on television right now so why not capitalize on some of that heat? Anyway Joss or not I'm all in and can't wait!!

TRUE REVIEW
Well it's only March and yet I already have my pick for the most disappointing movie of 2010. Brooklyn's Finest had so much promise. Antoine Fuqua is one of the best urban crime directors since Sidney Lument. You put together Richard Gere with Don Cheatle, Wesley Snipes and Ethan Hawke, you should have a great movie right? No so fast my fellow cinemafiles. With the exception of Gere, everyone is really good here, but they aren't given anything to work with. The plot is predictable, the scenarios implausible and the pacing is off. One good thing about this movie is the triumphant return of Wesley Snipes, he is terrific in his small role as an aging drug kingpin just returned from prison. Too bad Snipes and everyone else is wasted in this utterly forgettable mess.
